Trials of Osiris, Destiny 2’s high-level PvP mode, is back for its final round of the year. The mode offers a unique combination of risk and reward gameplay, making it a popular destination for players looking for a challenge. This weekend, players can head to the Eternity map and earn rewards based on their reputation rank, including new weapons and upgrade modules. The Trials weapons now have the Alacrity Origin Trait, which improves aim assist, reload speed, stability, and range when the player is the last surviving member of the fireteam or playing solo.

Trials of Osiris is available every weekend, from Friday’s daily reset at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET until the weekly reset on Tuesday. Players can also visit Xur to see what Exotics are available, and Saint-14 to purchase a Trials card and pick up rewards. The goal of the Trials is to achieve a Flawless run by winning seven matches without losing any. Flawless players receive special rewards, including Adept weapons with additional stat bonuses.

Bungie has made several changes to Trials this year, making it easier for players to participate. The mode now features matchmaking, allowing players to join matches even if they don’t have a full fireteam. The Trials Passage, which grants access to the mode and tracks wins, no longer tracks losses, so players can keep playing and earning rewards even if they don’t go Flawless. Rewards are now based on the number of rounds won during the session, and a reputation system similar to Crucible and Gambit has been added, making it easier to earn unique loot.

Participating in Trials of Osiris earns players Trials Engrams, which can be cashed in for specific pieces of loot or randomized drops. Whether playing alone or with a full fireteam, there are plenty of opportunities to earn new gear in Trials of Osiris.
