For decades, the exciting journeys of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates have captured the hearts of readers and viewers all over the world. However, recreating such a beloved and enduring action-adventure series into a game form has been a daunting task, with multiple developers trying to emulate the magic that made the One Piece anime and manga so successful, often with mixed results. One Piece Odyssey is the latest in these efforts, and it takes a unique approach by transforming One Piece’s dramatic battles into a turn-based RPG. They encounter a young girl named Lim who, out of fear of the pirates, removes all of the crew’s strength and special abilities. With the assistance of Adio, a somewhat suspicious adventurer who calls the island his home, the Straw Hats embark on a quest to regain their abilities, uncover the secrets of Waford Island, and escape to continue their journey. Along the way, players will also have the opportunity to relive the greatest adventures from the past.
