In the game Disney Dreamlight Valley, players may come across obstacles such as stumps that can be difficult to remove. To get rid of these stumps, players must first find and befriend Anna in the Frozen realm. By increasing her friendship level to 2 through giving her flowers or having daily conversations, Anna will offer the quest “An Icy Invitation.” To complete this quest, players must gather various materials including Softwood, Hardwood, Iron Ingot, and Tinkering Parts. These materials can be found in different areas of the game and may require some farming. With these materials in hand, players can then craft a Shovel Blade and upgrade their shovel to finally be able to dig up the stumps in the valley.
How to get rid of stumps in Disney Dreamlight Valley
One of the most effective ways to remove these pesky stumps is by upgrading your shovel. In order to do this, players must first find and befriend Anna from the Frozen realm. Once Anna has rehomed to Dreamlight Valley, players will need to raise her friendship level to 2 by giving her flowers or having daily conversations with her. Once her friendship level is at 2, she will offer players her first quest, “An Icy Invitation.”
This quest requires players to gather a few key items, including 10 Softwood, 4 Hardwood, 4 Iron Ingots, and 3 Tinkering Parts. Softwood can be found beneath trees throughout the valley, while Hardwood can be found in the Glade of Trust or Forest of Valor. Iron Ingots can be crafted by combining 5 Iron Ores with 1 Coal Ore, both of which can also be found in the Glade of Trust or Forest of Valor. Tinkering Parts can be crafted by combining two Iron Ingots at a crafting station.
Once players have gathered all of the necessary items, they can head to a crafting station to create the Shovel Blade. Once the Shovel Blade is crafted, players can use it to upgrade their shovel. With the upgraded shovel, players can finally dig up those stubborn stumps across the valley, making room for new homes and furniture.
