Nvidia has announced that select cars will support its GeForce Now cloud gaming service, which will allow drivers to play PC games on their vehicles’ screens. Hyundai Motor Group, which includes Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis, will support the service, as well as BYD, a company that manufactures electric vehicles, and Polestar. Drivers will be able to play games on the front screens when the car is parked, and if there are back screens, users can play at any time. Players will be able to stream games from various PC storefronts, such as Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.

In addition to the integration with vehicles, Nvidia also announced that the RTX 4080 will be available on GeForce Now for Ultimate members, which will provide a frame rate of 240 frames per second, full ray tracing and DLSS 3 for games that support it. This means that even the most demanding games can be experienced in their full, ray-traced glory.

“NVIDIA’s Ada architecture is a big leap in graphics quality, and through GeForce NOW we’re streaming an RTX 4080 experience to more devices and more gamers than ever,” said Jeff Fisher, Senior Vice President of GeForce.

It is worth noting that Teslas recently received Steam integration support in December, allowing certain Model S and X vehicles to play Steam games.
